With XOIP you can now also easily send faxes by email in the following steps.
First of all you create a new message in your email program. In the “on” field, enter the fax number followed by @ sendfax.xoip.com. Pay attention! The number must be given in an international format. So a fax that needs to be sent to a company in Amsterdam is addressed as follows: [email protected].
Next, add the PDF file that you want to send as an attachment to your email. Only the PDF file is included. Text in the email subject or in the email itself will not be sent. You can send the email in the usual way. You will then receive an automatic confirmation email from XOIP that your email has been received. You will then receive another email with the message that the fax has been delivered or not.
To prevent abuse, you can protect your fax options in three different ways. You can find these three ways under “my profile”. More detailed information about setting the security can be found on www.xoip.com/en/fax-online- send .
With this protection, XOIP also checks whether the address from which you send the fax matches the address you specified in your XOIP account.
It is also possible to send multiple faxes by email.
For sending faxes it remains important that you have sufficient credit . If you have insufficient credit, XOIP will ask you to top up your credit. The fax will only be sent when you have sufficient credit again.
In the meantime, you can keep multiple numbers under your XOIP account. You may want to manage numbers for several people or you need different numbers yourself.
